Sibling Rivalry – Illustrating character and place

Siblings arguing in a children’s book I’m currently illustrating, based in the Welsh Valleys.  The captioned text is nothing to do with the actual story.

Tryweryn: A Nation Awakes by Owain Williams

My Grandfather, Owain Williams in his 2016 book writes with a strong sense of narrative and an impeccable memory about his time on the run from MI5 and Special Branch for his part in attempting to stop the Tryweryn valley being flooded in an important time in Welsh history.
He also writes about his current democratic relationship with mainstream politics as a Councillor, and leader of Llais Gwynedd.
I really recommend it for anyone wanting to learn about recent Welsh history and about the fascinating personal experience of people who recognise and resist overbearing and violent political powers.

Buy it, read it, and keep retelling.
